LBC’s 2012 Periodic Review Report
Lancaster Bible College is accredited by both the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education’s Commission on Accreditation (ABHE). The reaffirmation of our accreditation depends on a process of self-study. Both MSHCE and ABHE require a decennial reaffirmation of our accreditation through a self-study process and a site visit by an evaluation team. MSCHE also requires an additional year-long self-study at the five-year mid-point between visits which results in a Periodic Review Report (PRR).
The PRR is a retrospective, current, and prospective analysis of LBC. The report is read by two external reviewers, usually from schools similar to ours. In addition a “finance associate” reviews all of our financial documents.
LBC’s Committee for Institutional Effectiveness has served as the PRR Steering Committee for this past 2011-2012 academic year. The document is now ready and available for public review and comment. Your input is vital to the process. At the end of each chapter is a link to a five-minute feedback form. Please review and give us your feedback on any or all chapters of our Periodic Review Report by May 20, 2012.
